Womb: Contract Signed

- After two years of trying the not-so-old-fashioned way, which consited of eight IUIs, three IVFs, two miscarriages, one ectopic, a couple of chemical pregnancies and a ridiculous amount of heartbreak/ache, Nicole and I are finally moms to twin girls. Life is amazing, difficult, challenging, fulfilling and everything in between. This blog focuses mainly on the in-between feelings.

what a show of sheer joy, but I don't want to think about what probably happened 45 minutes later!
We had a family gathering where my cousin's little one was a similar age, and he was just vibrating with a sugar rush, screaming "WA-SABI" as he crashed into & knocked over towers of blocks that we were building for him!
I think that my son Rhett has a crush on Maddie. He saw me watching your video and gazed at it, enraptured. "Who's that, Mommy?" "It's a little girl just about your age," I replied. His eyes were like saucers, and when the video was over, he said, "can I watch one more time, Mommy?" He then proceeded to want to watch about four more times until I made him stop. I suspect that mostly it is fascination with another child about his size, but still. Hilarious.
